How can I donate to Pride Fund India?

Storytelling has long been a powerful way for LGBTQIA+ communities to claim visibility, dignity, and self-representation. By sharing their own stories, queer and trans people challenge prejudice, build empathy, and reshape public understanding. Yet opportunities to tell these stories remain limited, and mainstream platforms often overlook or oversimplify queer realities.

Are there ways to support Pride Fund India beyond financial contributions?

Access to affirming healthcare is key to the dignity, safety, and well-being of LGBTQIA+ people. Yet stigma, misgendering, and denial of services often make even basic medical care feel unsafe, pushing many away from healthcare spaces and affecting mental health.

What is the grant cycle and selection process?

Economic agency helps LGBTQIA+ people build confidence, make choices, and take control of their own futures. However, many still face barriers to education, stable jobs, and income because of discrimination linked to sexual orientation, gender identity, caste, class, and religion, often leaving them with few safe work options.

How does Pride Fund India ensure accountability, compliance, and impact tracking?

Safe community spaces provide LGBTQIA+ individuals with strength, belonging, and care, especially when safety feels uncertain. Despite legal protections, many still face violence, discrimination, and housing insecurity, forcing them into unstable or temporary living situations. In this reality, community spaces become lifelines offering protection, solidarity, and resilience.

Do you support early-stage organisations or only established ones?

Claiming equal rights and recognition is central to dignity and belonging for LGBTQIA+ people. Yet systemic barriers continue to limit access to welfare schemes, education, housing, and employment, often making state systems hard to navigate.
